Chaos erupted in a Texas poker room over the weekend after three people were caught cheating in high-stakes action. One of them worked at the JokerStars Poker Room in Houston and the other two individuals were guests of his.

PokerNews revealed how a security review on Sunday night drew the initial suspicions, and closer inspection of the footage showed that the trio worked together to put into rotation a pre-loaded deck containing RFID chips.

They were also using a card reading device as part of their ploy, which meant they had an edge as they could see card values instantly and make more informed decisions than their opponents.

The poker room employee eventually came clean after seeing the clear-cut evidence. The other two individuals managed to flee the scene without any confrontation.

JokerStars has now banned the worker named Carlito and given refunds to all the impacted players.
