The grand dame of global country and western Dolly Parton has given her legions of fans an early Christmas present.

December 4-13 run in Las Vegas

Parton took to X on Monday to publicize her December 4-13 run in Las Vegas stating: “Grab your rhinestones, Vegas is calling!”:

The 79-year-old music legend revealed her gig at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, stating she’d be “taking over” the venue. 

Tickets for Dolly: Live in Las Vegas go on sale Wednesday. It is the first time Parton will perform in Vegas in 32 years.

Parton’s six-show residency at Caesars is, according to Variety, the pop icon’s “first string of live performances since 2016.”

According to reports, Parton’s Vegas show is billed as a “hit-driven concert event” with the singer expected to belt out staples including “Jolene” and “9 to 5.”

Since exiting the concert scene in 2016, Parton has kept a low profile, concentrating on personal projects. Her return to Vegas gives her fans a rare opportunity to see the country music legend perform live. 

Ready to go

In a statement, Parton revealed her excitement in returning to Vegas, stating that despite not gracing Sin City stages for decades, she has “always loved singing there.”

The pop diva gave her fans an extra nudge to attend her six Vegas shows by adding:

“‘I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there.”
