The 2025 Formula One season was the first in more than a decade that Daniel Ricciardo was not a part of. He retired from the sport in September after he lost his seat during the 2024 campaign and tried all the usual things to keep himself busy, like golf and gardening. After a while, he said he got an itch to start doing something else as he missed the buzz.

That’s why he’s now getting involved in a new tailgate business in partnership with Australia-based sportsbook operator Dabble:

The competition, dubbed “Dabble Dan’s Tailgate Party,” will award two flights to Austin, Texas, a three-night hotel stay, VIP tickets to the tailgate party, including a meet-and-greet with Daniel Ricciardo, and “exclusive” merchandise packages.

Dabble is a sportsbook that targets millennials, using social media interaction as a key part of the betting process. Ricciardo is seen as one of the most relatable and cool athletes in Australia, making the two parties a good fit.
