Visitors to Las Vegas received a surprise when clearing security, coming face to face with a choir of Transport Security Administration (TSA) agents.
a rendition of “Rise Up” by Andra Day
In a bizarre clip that is now doing the rounds on X, a group of uniformed agents at Harry Reid International Airport give a rendition of “Rise Up” by Andra Day to passengers passing through security checks. The clip dates from several weeks ago and has more than 100,000 views.
It’s fair to say that the reception on X was somewhat mixed, particularly with users noting that the agents singing could have been doing something like, well, helping a very long line of people to clear security.
To make matters worse, it was a particularly busy weekend at airports around the US, with Memorial Day Weekend and recent Real ID changes creating larger lines than normal. It’s not clear whether the singers were actually on shift at the time, but most passengers did not seem to be in the mood to attend an impromptu concert.

Although given the current state of affairs in Las Vegas with resort fees and ever-dwindling comps, one user did at least see the positive side.
