Drake has revealed this week that he has suffered a major gambling losing streak of over $8m in losses already this month.
In a story shared on Instagram, the musical artist showed his staggering $8,235,686 in losses, with over $124m wagered in June alone.

Commenting on the story, Drake added that he had to “share the other side of gambling… Losses are so fried right now.”
Despite the bad run, the artist remained optimistic to continue betting, saying: “I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max these guys max once a week.”
That big win has a good chance of coming very soon indeed – Drake also showed that he had $800,000 on the result of game six of the NBA Finals between the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder. He put $200,000 on Oklahoma City to win by 6-to-10 points at odds of 4.56, while he also has $600,000 on a straight bet on a Thunder win at 1.37.

If Oklahoma City emerges victorious, Drake will make a small $22,000 profit on the two bets, but he stands to win $1,734,000 if they also achieve the 6-to-10-point winning margin, for a $934,000 profit. While it’s a decent chunk of change, even that win would still leave him well in the red for the month.
Drake shared the bets that were placed at Stake crypto casino, with which the artist has a long-running partnership. He is also no stranger to placing bets elsewhere, either, winning $100,000 from Adin Ross earlier this year in a bicep curl prop bet.
