The powers that be in soccer have been pushing for a global club competition with real meaning for some time. They’ve settled on expanding the format of the FIFA Club World Cup, with 2025 the first edition of the tournament featuring 32 teams.

The action will kick off on June 13 in the US and will last one month, with top teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan taking part.

will distribute data and live odds to sportsbook operators and media companies for all 63 games

Leading sports betting data firm Sportradar has signed a deal to become an official tournament partner. The Switzerland-based company will distribute data and live odds to sportsbook operators and media companies for all 63 games.

It’s planning to offer as many as 190 pre-game markets and 200 in-play options. It will also play an important role in protecting the integrity of games by deploying its AI Universal Fraud Detection System to watch out for suspicious activity.

The competition is expected to get plenty of attention from bettors, as most domestic leagues are on a break over the summer and there are no major international tournaments taking place.

Sportradar’s share price soared 3% on the back of the news of the exclusive deal with the FIFA Club World Cup, with its stock up 45% so far in 2025.
