Flutter Entertainment is considering laying off 200 people as it tries to combat increasing costs and stricter regulations in the UK and Ireland.

Leeds office will be hit the hardest

The company is planning to consolidate all its brands into a single tech platform, which reportedly will have a knock-on impact on anyone working in the company’s technology and product teams. The Leeds office will be hit the hardest, with only about ten job losses expected in Ireland.

While the Paddy Power owner will work with impacted staff to try to redeploy them elsewhere in the business, some positions will likely become obsolete.
