BetRivers has launched a multi-state poker network covering Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, and Delaware. Rush Street Interactive announced the immediate rollout on Tuesday, seven months after it launched its first US online poker room in Pennsylvania.

It is also the only site ever to launch in West Virginia, and its Delaware entry means that online poker returns to that state for the first time in 18 months after 888 exited the market in December 2023.

plan is to roll out in New Jersey later in 2025

BetRivers believes this move will help establish a more competitive and larger network of players that will lead to large prize pools for tournaments and more liquidity for cash games. WSOP is the only other operator to have network of at least four states. The plan is to roll out in New Jersey later in 2025, which would make it the network operating across five states.

Talking about Tuesday’s launch, Rush Street Interactive CEO Richard Schwartz said that it’s looking forward to strengthening its “poker footprint and deliver best-in-class competition and community-driven play.”

Driving forward the growth of BetRivers are two ambassadors who are prominent names in the space: Phil Galfond and Phil Hellmuth. BetRivers was originally Run It Once Poker, founded by Galfond. He sold it to Rush Street in March 2022.
