Circa Sports has announced it will open Kentucky’s biggest retail sportsbook this summer at The Mint Gaming Hall, located at the home of the US’s only European-style turf racecourse in Franklin.
Circa stated on Thursday that its 5,100 square-foot retail operation at Kentucky Downs will open in July and replace the interim venue that has been in operation since last August.

According to a Circa release, its new permanent Kentucky sportsbook will feature an 80-foot-wide screen and a VSiN broadcasting studio.
Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens stated that bringing a high-caliber sportsbook to Kentucky “marks a significant milestone” for his brand.
The owner of Circa Resort & Casino, D Las Vegas, and the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino said that Circa Sports was “creating a high-tech betting destination that will bring a new level of live-viewing excitement.”
Stevens added that it’s not just Kentuckians who can look forward to the new sportsbook, stating: “We’re also seeing excitement from fans in Tennessee—especially in Nashville.”
