New Jersey-based BetMGM has made history for itself after inking its first major partnership with a women’s pro sports franchise.

The sportsbook co-owned by MGM Resorts International and Entain on Wednesday announced its exclusive iGaming deal with WNBA franchise, the Las Vegas Aces.

According to a BetMGM press release, the partnership will run from now until the end of the WNBA’s 2027 season.
Details of the deal
BetMGM stated Wednesday that the Vegas Aces tie-up will allow it to brand signage at the Michelob Ultra Arena, and access the franchise’s social media platforms for promotional drives.
BetMGM’s VIP account holders are now all granted courtside privileges, including luxury seating and access to “pre-game shootarounds.”
The New Jersey sportsbook added Wednesday that the deal also secures BetMGM official gaming partner status for the woman’s pro basketball league through the 2027 season. Under the wider WNBA agreement, BetMGM also gets commercial space on national TV channels, WNBA tickets, and the rights to co-brand online content.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said in the release that “BetMGM could not have two better organizations to partner with than the WNBA and the Aces.”

Greenblatt stated the WNBA franchise plays “in our backyard at Mandalay Bay” while also sharing his firm’s “commitment to giving back to the community.”
Slot game to come
BetMGM revealed Wednesday that it soon also plans to release a WNBA-branded online slot game. The iCasino game will, according to BetMGM, be available exclusively and will be the “first-ever WNBA online casino game.”
NBA Chief Growth Officer Colie Edison stated that the basketball body’s tie-up with BetMGM recognizes the “extraordinary potential for growth that comes from tapping into the power of women’s sports and the connections fans have to their favorite players and teams.”
