Circa Sports has a reputation for doing things a bit differently, and the Nevada-based operator has now unveiled what it has dubbed the biggest sports betting competition in US history.

Its 2025 edition of the popular Circa Survivor contest for the NFL season will have a prize pool of a guaranteed $15m, a big increase from last year’s $10m purse that attracted 14,266 customers. This competition sees entrants choose a single NFL team weekly. They progress if their team wins their respective game outright, with each contestant only able to choose a team once.
Circa Sports also runs several seven-figure spin-off contests, including a new high-roller option this year named Circa Grandissimo that will cost $100,000 to enter and carry a $1.5m prize pool.
One of the main requirements is that people taking part register in Nevada. Weekly predictions must be submitted in person or through the app once they are within state lines.
Talking about the historic event, Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens said that this is the operator’s “grandest wager” ever.
