The two offenders, now facing the charges in the Anne Arundel County District Court, are Sonejah Richards of Forestville and Allen Hill of Washington DC. Both the men abused the coupon system of the casino, issuing them to fraudulent accounts so that they could steal the funds with the help of co-conspirators.

Their co-conspirators included two people who would play through the coupons on slots and then cash out the winnings, sharing the spoils with the group. In February alone, Richards cost the casino $20,000 this way. Hills’ efforts in March amounted to $7,300 in casino losses.

They are facing felony and misdemeanour theft and identity fraud-related charges.
