An American sports bettor just cashed out for three times less than he could have made from his parlay. Despite taking home $114,000+, Justin Pasquale could have had $369,000 had he let it run all the way to the end.

The ten-leg parlay involved multiple games and sports. Among others, the legs included the Boston Celtics to beat the New York Knicks, the Carolina Hurricanes to beat the Washington Capitals, and the Vegas Golden Knights to beat the Edmonton Oilers. Altogether, the odds amounted to +36884 with a stake of $1,000.

The bettor decided to cash out $114,429.05 with Carolina and Vegas both left to play. In a video shared on br_betting he explained that he wanted to open a pizza place so he had to play it safe. Nevertheless, he announced that he intended to gamble some more in Las Vegas with $5,000 of the winnings.

Little did he know, he could have had three times as much cash if he had let it run. The NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes won 4-0, while the Knights secured a much closer 4-3 victory. Pasquale posted after the bet won, commenting that he was “not even mad” about the end result:

The bettor said he was “scared to even put a bet in again” after witnessing the “freakiest most amazing ending” to his parlay.
