xQc has a reputation for placing big bets, with his latest wager yielding him a tasty return of $443,662 after backing G2 Esports to win the Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2024 tournament.

xQc posted a screenshot of his wager to X, explaining how he just decided to watch some CS:2 “on a whim” before going ahead and placing the bet:

The 28-year-old has a track record of placing bets with eye-watering stakes on casino games and sporting events. He outlined in November how his lifetime stakes through his Stake account were more than $2.6bn.

The Quebec native sometimes wagers on esports and was originally an Overwatch player. He competed in the debut season of the Overwatch League and also appeared at the World Cup as part of the Canadian team. He ended his professional career in 2019 to pursue streaming full-time, showcasing a lot of gambling-related content.
