Police in Seattle, Washington have issued a warning to individuals traveling home from a casino in the city after multiple cases of armed gang members robbing gamblers. The group of criminals follows casino patrons home before attacking them.

The latest victim was a Roman Casino employee who was exiting her car at her apartment when the attack began at about 4:30am on Tuesday morning. The woman’s adult son was sleeping at the time. Talking to local media, he explained how he “just woke up and they pointed a gun” at his face. Doorbell footage shows parts of the incident, from which robbers escaped with watches and money.

the five young men who carried out the attack had rifles and handguns

A Bellevue Police officer confirmed that the five young men who carried out the attack had rifles and handguns. Law enforcement think that the attackers probably thought that the person was gambling at the Maverick Gaming-owned property rather than working there. The victim believes that a similar incident happened to her co-worker.

Numerous robberies of this kind have taken place in Seattle over the past year. It is a common tactic of thieves across the US to follow someone home from a casino, especially when the criminals observe someone winning a significant sum of money and exchanging their chips for cash.
