GG.Bet Adds to Recent UKGC License Acquisition With Ukraine Approval

GG.Bet has secured a license from Ukraine’s Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries that will allow it to operate an online casino and sportsbook in the country. It is not yet clear as to when the popular esports betting operator plans to officially launch in the region, but it did promise to provide updates soon.

In addition to offering markets for more than 30 different esports, GG.Bet also caters to wagering on traditional sports. It aims to boost its presence in Ukraine by partnering with notable sports figures and invest in sports-related social projects.

A spokesperson for GG.Bet noted the massive potential that exists within Ukraine for betting operators and complemented the country’s great history in the esports space. They also emphasized that fans of traditional sports will have access to “plenty of attractive offers and exciting experiences.”

GG.Bet has been focusing on expansion recently. In June, it got the green light from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) to launch an online sportsbook and casino site.
