The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has entered a deal that will see PokerOrg become the tour’s official media partner for the 2023/2024 season. The independent company will cover every tour stop to make sure that the events get a similar level of attention as exciting sporting occasions.

PokerOrg has put together an all-star team”

Commenting on the new partnership with PokerOrg, WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart said: “PokerOrg has put together an all-star team and impressed us with their innovative plans to cover live events.”

In addition to the traditional type of poker event coverage, PokerOrg will also provide news for aide events, big hand highlights, as well as player personality features.

It will mark the first time in three years that the WSOP has had a media partner since PokerNews. PokerOrg CEO Eric Hollreiser believes that the media coverage has not been good enough for a long time and thinks PokerOrg’s “player-focused, social-media style of reporting” will help create plenty of attention for the game.

The new WSOP Circuit season officially began on Monday and will continue through May 2024.
