Poker pros Dan Smith and Markus Gonsalves were back on the tennis court recently in another prop bet. This go-around, Gonsalves, the 2020 WPT Gardens Poker Championship winner, had to use a rather unusual piece of equipment in the single-set match.

As the superior player, Gonsalves used a frying pan instead of a racquet, though he was permitted to wrap the handle in grip tape. Despite the handicap, Gonsalves defeated Smith, who is eighth on the all-time live tournament earnings list with $41m, in an efficient 6-2 beat-down.

Smith has suggested a potential rematch, joking that Gonsalves will have to use a baseball bat next time. Gonsalves then posted a picture on Twitter frying eggs in the pan that he used to win the game. In a previous match, Gonsalves used his weaker left hand to best Smith.
