A BetMGM bettor used a double-overtime classic between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics to turn a $50 bonus bet parlay into $10,000.

The nine-leg parlay with +20000 odds cashed in a game that the Knicks ended up stealing on the road 131-129. Third-year pro Immanuel Quickley filled in for the injured Jalen Brunson with a career-high 38 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.

Seven of the nine parlay legs involved overs on player scoring, including Julius Randle, Jayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown all to score 25+. R.J. Barrett also needed to score 20+, while Al Horford, Mitchell Robinson, and Marcus Smart needed 10+.

The two non-points legs were Randle 8+ rebounds and Barrett 2+ assists, both of which hit by one.

As profitable as the game was for the lucky BetMGM player, it was also a testament to the momentum that the Knicks are building. They are 9-0 since acquiring Josh Hart ahead of the trade deadline and are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, bearing down on the Cleveland Cavaliers for the four seed.

Celtics have dropped three of their last four games

The loss, on the other hand, means that the Celtics have dropped three of their last four games, which is a serious concern for a team that had the best record in the NBA for the majority of the campaign. New York has Monday night off while Boston will be on the road to play the Cavs.
