Expanding in the US

Pala Interactive is now live in Virginia after launching its Unibet Sportsbook in the state this week. The Kindred Group, owner of the Unibet brand, announced the start of services via Twitter:

The Virginia launch comes shortly after the company earned a license in the state. The Kindred Group announced just a few days ago that the Virginia Lottery had granted it a standalone mobile sports betting license.

Unibet has many years of experience as an international brand and Virginia sports bettors now get to see what the company has to offer. The site features the green, white, and black color scheme known to the brand and includes a large selection of sports betting markets.

Basketball, baseball, tennis, hockey, football, UFC, motorsports, MMA, and golf are among the many sports categories Unibet covers. Among bets, players will find moneyline, parlay, teaser, and spread bets.

Pala Interactive signed a multi-year licensing agreement with the Kindred Group to provide a top-rated online gaming platform. Pala has integrated the Kambi Sports platform for real money betting options as part of its services.

delighted to continue to provide its online gaming platform to the Kindred Group

Jim Ryan, CEO of Pala Interactive, commented that the company is delighted to continue to provide its online gaming platform to the Kindred Group in the United States. Pala looks forward to adding new services in additional states in the future. He noted that Virginia is the sixth state in which Pala has launched its online gaming platform.

In February of this year, the Kindred Group announced that the Unibet brand was launching sports betting services in California and Arizona, partnering with the Quechan Tribe of the Fort Yuma Indiana Reservation. The ten-year agreement includes online and retail options along with online gaming, contingent upon sports betting and online casino gaming becoming legal.

More sports betting services in Virginia

Unibet is not the only new brand to start offering sports betting services in Virginia. Last month, regulators approved a few more operators. WynnBET announced in early March that it had received an online sports betting license in the state.

The company is the official online sportsbook for both the Martinsville Speedway and the Richmond Raceway. WynnBET is also NASCAR’s official sports betting partner.

Just a few days after the Wynn announcement, three more providers earned approval in the state. Penn National Gaming, Bally’s Corporation, and Golden Nugget Online Gaming are all new sports betting license holders.

Regulators provided temporary operating permits so the companies could get started sooner. It appears as though Penn National’s Barstool Sports might be the first of the group to launch.
