A lucky tourist won a $1.3m jackpot while waiting for a flight in Las Vegas. Harry Reid International Airport announced the big win on Wednesday via social media:

The unidentified guest was playing the Wheel of Fortune Triple Double Emeralds slot in Terminal 1 when they struck gold. There are over 1,400 slot machines dotted around the airport, which have generated over $1bn in lifetime revenue.
