David Lappin is a professional poker player from Dublin, Ireland. He has a BA in Arts, MA degrees in Philosophy and Screenwriting, and an MLitt in Philosophy. After college, he worked as a copywriter and screenwriter before finding poker in 2006. A successful online and live player, David became an ambassador for Unibet Poker in 2017. Alongside his long-time collaborator Dara O'Kearney, he produces and hosts two of the most popular poker shows, The Lock-In and the GPI Global Poker Award-winning The Chip Race.
