New NBA wagering content

NBA Digital is launching NBABet, an initiative launched aiming to provide new sports betting content to basketball fans. As part of the project, a new NBA TV show, NBABet presented by BetMGM, debuts Friday. Additionally, the NBA created a social media account, @NBABet, with Action Network at the helm.

NBABet used its new social media handle to announce details of the show:

The NBA TV show will be the first sports betting-focused studio show for the network. BetMGM, Turner Sports, and the NBA teamed up to create the program.

NBABet TV show

NBABet presented by BetMGM premieres tonight at 6:30pm ET on NBATV, featuring sports betting analysis and data. The weekly show is 30 minutes long and launches just before the NBA playoffs begin. Based out of WarnerMedia Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, NBABet presented by BetMGM is set to air throughout the first two rounds of the playoffs.

All the latest NBA odds from BetMGM will be displayed during the show.

On NBABet presented by BetMGM, experts will provide betting analysis and breakdowns of betting info across the industry, with BetMGM integrating its data feed in the program. All the latest NBA odds from BetMGM will be displayed during the show.

As the playoffs second round begins, the NBA App and NBA.com will include a new section featuring NBABet with editorial content from partners such as Bleacher Report, Action Network, and Yahoo! Sports.

New social media account

Action Network will be in charge of programming for NBABet’s new social media account, @NBABet. The account will provide fans with highlights, insights, video segments, trends, and more. All of the data provided will have a sports betting focus.

Right now, the social media focus seems to be on Twitter. The new handle is live and should add more content to Twitter in the coming days. So far, there do not seem to be any accounts for NBABet on other social media sites like Facebook and Instagram.

Bally’s Corporation partners with the NBA

The NBABet announcement comes just two months after the NBA announced a new partnership deal with Bally’s Corporation. The multi-year strategic partnership sees the gambling company named the Authorized Sports Betting Operator for the basketball league.

Bally’s now has access to NBA data and can use the official logos and marks of the league in its online sports betting operations. The company is connected to the NBA already through a 2020 deal with the Sinclair Broadcast Group in which the FOX regional sports networks were rebranded as Bally’s.
