Best New Slots in 2019 | 1 March 2019

We are already at the start of March – how time flies! Kickstarting the month are a mixture of new slots that have surprised us this week with new pay mechanics, unseen bonus features and high win potential. The honours of the first March newsletter go to NextGen Gaming, Netent, Pragmatic Play and Red Rake Gaming.

NextGen Gaming presents the sequel to its hugely popular Foxin’ Wins slot. With a dual reel set and a flurry of features, it is aptly named Foxin’ Twins. In turn, Netent has gone a completely novel way and included a multi-level bonus feature in Wild Worlds that can pay 2,500x your bet on every single free spin.

Pragmatic Play is releasing The Dog House, a fun-filled slot about a gang of four dogs that are ready for a proper reel brawl to collect a juicy bone and wins of up to 6,750x the bet in the bonus round. After releasing their take on the Megaways concept with Tiger and Dragon, Red Rake Gaming has chosen a more common reel set for Bonnie and Clyde. Will the legendary outlaw couple escape the sheriff and drive off into the vast prairie? Time to take a closer look.

Foxin’ Twins | NextGen Gaming

The noble fox from the original Foxin’ Wins slot and its Christmas/Football clones is getting another reel rendezvous, and this time Mrs Foxin is also invited to take part. As the name suggests, the game comes with a dual set, each with its features that can switch or mix randomly.

Play the game on mobile or desktop from 0.25 coins and enjoy a feature frenzy including random wilds, multiplying wilds, SuperBets and up to 200 free spins that can produce wins of up to 20,000x your bet.

The SuperBet will be your first port of call as it impacts your bet amount per spin. It is off in default mode, offering random wilds on reel three only on the left game window, and random win multipliers from x2 to x5 on the right. Level one will cost double and level two 4x the base bet, but it will also enhance the two random features – Reveal Wild and Multiply Wild.

Fox pups peeping on top of the left reel set will randomly trigger the Reveal Wild feature, turning up to three symbols on their reel into a blue wild symbol. On the right, the multiplier wheel will multiply wins by up to x20 on level two when a green wild is part of the combo.

Unrelated to the SuperBet, there are two random features on Foxin’ Twins – A Little Wilder and Gone Wild. The first will see blue wilds on the left turn into green multiplier wilds, while in the second the fox pups move to the right reel set with a potential to add more wilds on a spin and thus hit a win multiplier.

And then there is the free spins feature. Since you can hit a total of 10 scatters due to the dual reel set, you can trigger 10 to 100 free spins for three to 10 scatters. Both random features will now trigger simultaneously and pays are awarded both ways on each reel set.

Wild Worlds | NetEnt

NetEnt introduces a storyline into its latest creation with cascading symbols and tumbling reels. In a distant future, three feathered superheroes have to save the planet from ugly monsters. They can be seen sitting on their control screens, preparing for their random and bonus missions that can lead to wins of up to 2,500x your bet on a single spin.

Play the grid game from 0.20 coins and collect wins when three matching symbols land horizontally or vertically on the reels. Brace yourself for action-filled gameplay as it looks like NetEnt has tried to cram all the features they know into a single slot.

The Random Destroy feature can trigger on a losing spin in the base game and will see one hero being selected to destroy all pay symbols on the grid except those associated with his colour. In turn, Hero Wilds can happen in the base game and free spins when you hit a win with the hero symbols. All other matching symbols that are not part of the winning combo will turn into a wild symbol.

The free spins feature will require some stamina as it comes with three worlds – Dark Forest, Ice World and Fire Lands – each with three captains and one boss who need to be defeated to progress to the next world. Beating the monsters is done by scoring winning combinations that will trigger two types of attack – Hero Attack and Hero Super Attack. Extra wilds are awarded for defeating a monster and are added to the reels in specific patterns based on which world the battle takes place. Beating all captains and bosses will definitely lead to mega wins.

The Dog House | Pragmatic Play

Get ready for a fun-filled reel brawl with four cute dogs on the latest creation from Pragmatic Play. The gang comprises a dachshund, a pug, a shih tzu and a rottweiler. Together they roam the reels of this high-variance game to award wins of up to 6,750x your bet.

Spin the reels from 0.20 coins and hit wilds on reels two to four in the base game as they will award a win multiplier of 2x or 4x when they are part of a winning combo. More than one will be added, leading to maximum win multiplier of 9x.

Three paw scatters on reels one, three and five will trigger the bonus feature. The rottweiler will invite you to step inside his dog house where a 3×3 grid will unveil the total amount of free spins. The maximum is 27 free spins and cannot be retriggered. Any wild landing during the feature will turn into a sticky wild multiplier of up to 3x.

Bonnie & Clyde | Red Rake Gaming

The notorious outlaw couple were the superstars among the gangsters and liked by the general public as they managed to evade the police time and again after their heists. Red Rake Gaming has taken on the challenge to bring their story to a set of slot reels with 50 pay lines.

Join the gangster couple from 0.50 coins to see Clyde landing fully stacked at all times and paying both ways while Bonnie holds the keys to the free spins round. Land minimum three scatters anywhere on the reels and you could trigger up to 50 free spins that can be retriggered indefinitely. The full screen of Clyde symbols will pay the maximum win in one spin at 3,750x your bet.
