bitZino Casino launched in 2012 and allowed customers worldwide to place wagers using Bitcoin. But the website hasn’t been updated since the launch, which is a shame because it looks like the website was initially launched in prehistoric times.

Thinking beyond the basic design, bitZino Casino offer a great range of casino games with no limits. Proprietary software is used throughout the casino, meaning you won’t find these games on any other online casino.

Owner and Support

There is very limited information listed on the bitZino Casino website, so we had to do a lot of digging to find out who the owner was. Solar Communications is the owner and they launched the casino a few short years ago, allowing Bitcoin users worldwide to play a basic selection of online casino games without any software or fuss. Accessing the website can only be done through the English language and you can only place bets using Bitcoin.

It was no surprise to us to see that bitZino Casino only offered one route of contacting customer support, which was through email – support@bitzino.com. There are no help sections which offer frequently asked questions and their answers, you have to just send an email and wait for a reply. The amount of time you have to wait to get a reply is anyone’s guess sadly.

bitZino Casino offers players the opportunity to access the 6 games via a mobile or tablet device. The way the site loads on your mobile is exactly like the desktop version – basic, blue and grey with limited games and options. The only advantage of playing via your mobile is the fact that you don’t need any apps or software to get started.

Overall Feel

Blue and grey – that’s the colour of this online casino and it is a colour scheme that is featured throughout. There is limited navigation tabs on displayed, because of the lack of gaming options and promotions. The welcome page is not a welcome screen as we know it – it’s basic and not very inviting.

We think that the way the casino has been designed is putting people off playing here – it’s far too basic, offers hardly anything games wise and having no promotions whatsoever is a complete let-down.

Our Casino Verdict

We were slightly disappointed when we stumbled upon bitZino Casino, purely because the design of the casino site was quite a let-down. We are used to seeing vibrant, bright and modern online casino websites that offers lots of gaming choice – but the welcome page was very boring with its blue and grey colour scheme – it almost looked like a forum to us.

You expect to find welcome offers and gaming previews when you arrive at any gambling site, but when you arrive at bitZino Casino, it doesn’t look like you are on a welcome screen – it’s inside a Blackjack room and it’s asking you to place your bets!

Beneath the Blackjack table, you will find the betting options from split through to stand.

You will find links to video poker, 3 card poker, slots, roulette and craps to the lower of the screen plus information on HTML5 technology, Bitcoins and integrity. Rather an odd set up in our opinion, but at least the gaming options help you forget about the poor design of the website.

What can we say about the games? Well, we should say lack of games because an online casino offering just 6 games is very poor indeed. Not a lot of thought or effort has gone into this casino and we would be surprised if anyone actually played here.

The design, layout and games looks almost as if the casino site has been abandoned. Complete overhaul required here, and additional features added to get the players in.

Sadly, the only thing going for bitZino Casino is the fact you can play the games in demo mode, to practice before staking your cash.
