In basic gameplay, Superbet is a feature that gives you prizes whenever you land three or more of the same gem symbols or three or more of the same background colour. Superbet doubles the stake but it may be worth the gamble if you are looking for higher risk action.
Bonus Symbols and Multipliers
Whilst researching our Double Gem review, we learned rainbow colours can be found on the diamond and background symbols which are both wilds. This means they substitute for any other symbol to complete winning lines, except each other.
Because these icons don’t appear on the middle reel, they can’t make up lines on their own, but we found it easy to grab extra wins when wilds were landed.
The highlight of the Double Gems video slot though are the multipliers that can x your wins by up to 10 when playing in Superbet mode. This feature works by increasing the multiplier by 1 after every consecutive win in normal gameplay and by 2 for background colour wins in Superbet mode. Both multipliers work in Superbet mode so that is the best option for reaching consecutive wins but remember that you will have to double your stake.
Also, be aware that in standard gameplay any losing spin will wipe out your multiplier. However, in Superbet mode, losing spins will see it reduced by one.
Flexible Betting Options
Our Double Gem Slot review found some interesting options on betting flexibility. However, some players may find they are priced out if they are looking for low stake, low risk play. A basic minimum bet is 0.40 or 0.80 with Superbet activated. Coin values can be raised to match any bet, up to a maximum of 20.00 or 40.00.
There are both autoplay and turbo mode features available on this slot if you want to speed the action up but be sure to keep an eye on your balance. Disappointingly there is no option to stop the automatic spins once win or loss limits are reached, so we advise caution.
