Slotomon Go Slots

Slot game developers have no choice but to follow every trend and update their sources of inspiration they want to engage new players and never lose any along the way.

Therefore, games such as Slotomon Go can pop up every now and then. This Softwiss video slot game is clearly inspired by the very popular Pokemon Go app. No need to get out of your house here, all that you will have to do is summon a little luck and spend a few credits to win big.

Slotomon Go and try to catch them all thanks to our complete review of the game.

Prepare for Your Hunt

Slotomon Go has a very obvious source of inspiration for its graphic universe, but in order to avoid any sort of copyright infringement the developers had to steer clear of simply copying the famous monster-catching franchise.

The background of the game is a simple, peach-coloured sky with a few fluffy white clouds floating around. The reels are simply placed in the foreground within a simple white rectangle, with a standard command bar at the bottom and a strange electronic device on the side.

Slotomon Go looks a lot like a Pokemon game, but still not quite. Only hard-core fans of the franchise could get really excited when looking at the screen, which is rather bland objectively speaking. Let’s see if the gameplay is a little more exciting.

Gotta Catch ’Em All

Slotomon Go is closer to your average slot game when it comes to the basic rules than it is to a Pokemon game. All you have to do is look at the command bar under the reels to get a good idea of your next move.

The game itself features 5 reels and 5 paylines, which clearly indicate where your symbol combinations have to land to trigger cash rewards. The different

The (+) and (-) buttons underneath the reels will help you choose a wager and place it on as many paylines as you deem appropriate before you spin the reels and see what happens next.

As usual, all the cash rewards available in Slotomon Go are based on the type of symbol combinations that you land and the current size of your wager. You cannot control luck, but you can decide to bet some extra credits or even use bet max to go all-in for your next turn. The autoplay mode is also available, in case you feel like placing the same bet on several consecutive spins.

Let the Battle Begin

The paytable of Slotomon Go is filled with tiny monsters that definitely look like the original Pokemons, without being exactly the same, of course. We will take a look at the list here, with a few examples of cash rewards based on a one-credit bet on the reels.

The smaller monsters are the most common of the game. There are 5 of them in total, from a mole-like creature to a cactus or a tropical bird. You can win with them through combinations of 3, 4 or 5 identical symbols, with payouts going from 2 to 200 credits.

The larger icons are more elusive and therefore more valuable. Octopus, puffer fish, monkey or mushroom, they all can trigger cash prizes with short combinations of 2 icons as well. The maximum payout of the base game is 5,000 credits.

Create Your Own Luck

Slotomon Go is first and foremost a slot game, so it would not be quite complete without a few surprise features on its reels to spice things up a little for the players.

The gem symbol is first of all the wild card of the game. Wherever it lands, it can substitute for another symbol if that would help you score a win. Combinations of gem symbols can also be worth an extra prize of 1,500 credits.

Gems also act as scatters: finding 3 or more of them anywhere on the reels at the same time initiates a bonus round of 10 free spins for the lucky player.

A Dynamic Chase, but Mostly for the Fans

Slotomon Go is not the most original slot game there is, given its more-than-obvious source of inspiration, but Pokemon fans will probably be pleased to (almost) find their favourite monsters in a slot game.

As such, Slotomon Go is rather classic and fails to bring really original elements to the table. The gem symbol is a useful icon of course, but the most noticeable feature of the game is probably the large payouts available.
