Club Millionaire Slot Machine

No matter how realistic it may be, it’s no doubt an overriding hope of most people to one day become a millionaire. For those who have lost hope of sorts, it’s reassuring to know that they can still immerse themselves into various situations which allow them to live as though they were millionaires – even if just for a brief time.

This form of escapism from the often harsh realities is perfectly natural and often than not (at least nowadays) found through virtual means. One of the most popular ways to enhance dreams of winning a fortune, is to partake in gambling methods that may well lead to the actual winning of a fortune. There’s no question that video slots offer the most immersive gambling experience, and Club Millionaire is just one more slot seeking to offer a little something for nothing.

Introduced by developer Simbat Entertainment Systems very recently, Club Millionaire is yet another release from this prolific games producer to fall into the ‘club’ category. It possesses a theme as smooth as silk and is immensely appealing on the surface. But what does it pack underneath?

Under the Skin

The high rollers out there will be infinitely pleased to learn that you can effectively come charging out the gates with the Club Millionaire slot. It’s geared perfectly for those who like to break in and put a slot through its paces instantly – packing a humungous 40 credit per spin max limit – and won’t take long to get to grips with. For those who enjoy to take things a slower pace however, the lower game caps out at just 1 credit per spin, which is ideal if you’re new to the game or indeed to slots gaming as a whole.

The theme is bolstered nicely by some high definition graphics and a sharp array of effects and sound sequences – all of which add positively to the general theme and create the kind of environment that players are likely to want to throw a bit of cash around in. So far, so good. This is a game that looks good and plays good – and that is just about all anyone can ask for!

The Beef

Now that a full assessment of the mechanics of the game has been made, as well as the factors of its performance in terms of graphic and sonic capability, it is time to move onto the little extra features that make a game like this a game like this. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, we are of course talking about the bonus features!

The focal point of the bonus and additional material within this game is a bonus wheel which is triggered at random throughout gameplay, offering a very welcome hint of spontaneity to proceedings that can dry up rather quickly within a game of this kind.

The bonus wheel will take it upon itself to award as many 5 free spins with every spin that comes in as a win, while implementing no penalty for any dummy results – aside from the termination of the bonus round, that is.

After a brief encounter with the bonus wheel, it’s not entirely farfetched to expect to drastically increase the value of your pot. The meter indicating the value of your winnings (in game terms) is more prone to fluctuation than the vast majority of similar features in any other game of this kind – as a direct and untampered result of the randomly triggered bonus structure. Effectively, the more you bring yourself to bet, the higher the payouts will be – particularly when the higher tier symbols are involved – but isn’t that always the case?

The Long and Short of It

With Club Millionaire, Simbat Entertainment Systems have endeavoured (rather successfully, it should probably be noted at this point) to create a game that pays homage to its siblings, both in the Simbat family and the general club format. The inclusion of the bonus wheel is a welcome one, as anything that can offer such a degree of unexpected and unannounced excitement should be.

Where Club Millionaire falters is in its transparency. Indeed, once a player has navigated their way through a round or two, it’s highly unlikely that they’re going to be greeted with any trace of a new feature. This can make the game easy to wear out and ultimately last no longer than a few visits in the mind of a consistent slots player. This is hardly a concern for a developer as prolific as Simbat, but worth consideration nonetheless.
