Lucky Ladies Bingo Review

Well that’s that then. We have been desperately trying not to stereotype the target demographic for bingo, but while we’re sure that it can’t be as simple as one core audience and one core audience alone, the folk behind this particular bingo website have gone and done exactly what everyone here was trying to avoid, staking a claim in the ground and planting a flag in the soil of certainty.

Lucky Ladies Bingo. There, we said it. This site is aimed squarely at the females in the proverbial room, who are, apparently, keen to ‘get lucky’ and win big at some decent bingo sessions. Perhaps we were just born into the snowflake generation – too quick to assume people would take offense at the suggestion that the main people who play bingo online are going to be women over the age of around 25 (everyone younger is still too busy doing that thing the call going out, or on Tinder, probably).

Either way, those behind this casino site evidently believe that it is women who will be playing the most, and they should know given they can tell everything about who is logging on through their membership information.

Good Looking Ladies

Big Brother suggestions aside, Lucky Ladies is a pretty attractive looking site. The imagery – which depicts various women getting about their business – is nicely stylised, almost reminiscent of art deco posters of days gone by, and for that we have to be grateful. After all, it’s a damn site more aesthetically appealing than, say, a load of garish reds, oranges, and gold pound coins or similar, which we have recently had the misfortune of objectively reviewing.

The homepage itself is quick to load up, and even if it wasn’t, it would be worth the wait. This is the sort of thing we really like – clear information, presented in an accessible way. From the top menu bar we can tell exactly what the options here are – Bingo, Slots, and that’s about it. Below is a slider image that details some of the things you can expect to get for making the effort to sign up- we’ll come to those promotions later- and below that a real time feed of ongoing Jackpots and Winners, along with a list of the games currently live in play.

It’s a damn site better than some sites, which try to suggest they contain casino games and then don’t, or, worse still, give you no information whatsoever about what’s on the other side of the next click. Basic web design suggests the fewer clicks the better and so why on earth people continue to built and maintain sites that make you keep clicking around to get even an inkling of what’s going on inside the site is beyond us. You could do far worse in terms of first impressions, then, as such let’s move on and crack on with the review proper.

Bingo, We’ve Been Expecting You

Clicking on the Bingo option on the menu row at the top of the homepage will take you through to the bingo section of the website, and this is where things start to get interesting. Or at least they do if you’re here to play some proper bingo. Those who aren’t probably need not apply really.

OK, so you’ll be immediately confronted by a table of events. This shows a full list of all the games currently in play- those on the homepage just offered a taster. Based on what was happening when we ran this test of the site, you have 90 ball, 80 ball, 75 ball, 30 ball, 50 ball, and that’s probably about it. Still, five different ball levels isn’t the worst we’ve come across, and any more than this would probably just overcomplicate the whole experience. Just enough then.

Lucky Ladies’ Slots

Click on slots on the top menu bar and you’ll be transported to a world of slot machines. Well, not quite a world, but still quite a few. There are far more slots on offer at Lucky Ladies Bingo than we have come across on other bingo websites, and this is something we really do need to give some praise for.

The quality is, however, a little changeable. Some of these games are bang up to date, others more dated. We’d also point out to anyone expecting progressive jackpot slots and 3D or video slots that both types are notably absent from the website, but that’s not the worst thing in the world. After all, this is fundamentally a bingo website, so we can’t expect all the bells and whistles of a slot or full-range casino.

There Is a Casino, Though

It might not be the biggest or best casino on the market, but there is a casino section to the website. You might assume we would be hyper-critical of the fact this is hidden away – the option to view the casino games only comes up when you have clicked onto the slots section – but actually we have the opposite opinion.

By not advertising this section they website isn’t claiming to be a casino website- and there aren’t enough for it to legitimately do this. Yes, you can play deuces or blackjack, or poker, but there are only a handful of games. Props to Lucky Ladies Bingo for refusing to false advertise or lead us down some shrubbery maze then, as many other websites seem only too willing to do.

Tell Us About the Promotions

No problems. The promotions on Lucky Ladies are pretty simple, and better yet, simple to understand. You get weekly cashback just for playing, there’s a Jackpot Special every week of up to £500, and a Newbie Bonus system rewarding you with 500% on the first deposit, 350% on the second, and 300% on the third. These are pretty generous numbers and make sense in terms of how they have been organised to keep you coming back for more.

On top of this, you’ll receive Amazon gift vouchers for referring friends, which isn’t bad – and certainly makes a welcome difference from simply getting credit to spend in the casino itself. Similarly, you can subscribe to a blog and get a bonus; tweet or Facebook for bonuses; and there is a decent loyalty scheme that rewards you on an ongoing basis the more you play. Not bad at all.

We like These Ladies

Overall Lucky Ladies Bingo is a welcome break from the bingo sites we have been reviewing recently, which either make no sense, are pretty much half empty, or just feel like some faded relic of a distant time when expectations for bingo websites, and web design in general, were far less demanding.

The quality of the bingo games is high, the quality of the slots and casino games decent enough for you not to feel too hard done by. The result is an altogether satisfying experience and one that we will not shy away from getting involved with another time. You could indeed do far, far worse than sign up for this website, and better yet by doing so you’ll also be in line for some very good, value for money bonuses and promotions. To cut what has been a very long story short, then, this is about as good as you’re going to get when it comes to a proper bingo website, and for that reason we’re giving it the thumbs up recommendation. And that’s an expert talking.
