Bingo Hearts Review

Bingo Hearts is a bright and larger than life site that is of course all about the beautiful game of bingo.

The lottery-style game, which was once the preserve of old ladies, has been reclaimed by a younger audience in recent years, and it’s thanks in part to sites like Bingo Hearts whose vibrant colours and emoji theme is clearly designed for the millennial and smartphone generation.

As a Cassava Enterprises website, Bingo Hearts is essentially identical to every single one of the company’s other bingo websites. The only thing that’s changed is the theme.

For the record, Cassava Enterprises Ltd are based in Gibraltar, but Bingo Hearts holds a UK gambling license which was awarded to 888 UK Limited, a firm who control the site’s UK operations.

For customers accessing the site from EU countries, it’s Virtual Digital Services Limited who’ll be controlling things. Billing itself as a place where love is always around, Bingo Hearts promises its players many reasons to be cheerful.

There’s a £30 bonus when you deposit your first £10 plus the prospect of progressive jackpots in selected bingo games just to add to the excitement.

Getting Started at Bingo Hearts

As you’d expect, there’s not much required in order to start playing some bingo at the emoji-tastic Bingo Hearts. Create an account, sign in, make your first deposit and then you’ll be able to play a selection of 75 and 90-ball bingo games in your browser. As you play, or as you wait for games to start, you’ll be able to chat with fellow players, striking up friendships and engaging in some banter while you mark off your numbers as they come in.

When it comes to depositing funds, the site uses 128-bit encryption, just as you’d hope and expect, and offers a range of convenient payment options including PayPal, Ukash and Neteller. There’s also Entropay, Paysafecard, bank transfer and credit and debit card courtesy of Visa, Maestro and MasterCard. Full details on deposits and withdrawals can be found in Bingo Hearts’ FAQ, the same FAQ as you’ll find at all Cassava Enterprises bingo websites. (Fun fact: a cassava is a tuber, a type of South American potato.)

There’s a 48-hour wait before funds are released when you want to cash out, and then another 3-5 days for the transaction to be processed.

Proper Promotions

To welcome you through its virtual doors, Bingo Hearts’ introductory offer comprises a 300% deposit match, turning your £10 into £40. There’s plenty more where that came from once you start playing at the site on a regular basis. There are seasonal promotions, which see free spins, ‘tangible gifts’, bonus cash and other perks doled out.

There’s a monthly promotion called the 2 Million Race, in which 40 winners will receive up to 2 million loyalty points, and a happy hour between 4pm and 6pm every Monday when loyalty points are doubled.

On weekends, Bingo Hearts ups the ante with a generous £700 in cash to be won in its Weekender game. To enter, you must have made a single deposit of at least £50 in the previous week. For every 96 tickets you purchase for the game, you’ll receive 14 free.

There’s a similar promotion in place every evening in the Late Night Show. This game commences at 12:45am with a £100 jackpot and is open to just 75 players.

Jewels in the Crown

Many casinos and betting sites offer loyalty schemes that see members earn comps on every £1 they wager. At Bingo Hearts, those comps are called jewels and you’ll be awarded 12 of them per £1 – a figure that’s doubled during Monday’s happy hour.

The more jewels you collect, the higher up the rankings you’ll climb, earning increasing bonuses and cashback awards along the way. All players start off at Rookie level, before ascending to Pro, Master and finally Champ.

Once you’ve reached Pro level, you’ll earn 5% bingo cashback, increasing to 10% at Master level and 15% at Champ level. Master is attained, incidentally, once you’ve collected 600 jewels, with Champ occurring at 2,400. The top 2 categories will also earn games bonus cashback of 5% and 10% respectively. Other perks include free spins and free tickets to the big £10k game, each of which normally cost £10. Pro members will be awarded 2 tickets, Masters will receive 5 and Champs 10.

B is for Bingo

The two most popular forms of bingo in the world are 75-ball bingo and 90-ball bingo. They’re the two that Bingo Hearts’ operators favour at all of their bingo-based websites.

Complete playing instructions are available on the site, including details of what makes each game unique and the regions where they’re most popular. For the record, 75-bingo is the preferred game of the North American market, while 90-ball bingo is more common in Britain and Europe.

How to Play

The 75-ball game you’ll be able to play at Bingo Hearts takes place on a 5x5 grid, with each spot taken up by a different number, save for the centre spot which is marked as “FREE”.

Players have the option of customising the game to suit their needs, or rather to suit the capabilities of the device they’re using. Tooltips, animations, themes and room intro can all be toggled on or off.

To play, you’ll need to purchase a minimum of 1 card, but naturally your prospects will improve exponentially the more cards you buy. The maximum allowed is 96. The price per card will be clearly displayed on the top left of the screen, but will typically be in the region of 10p.

Traditionally, bingo players would sit in a bingo hall, or whatever real world setting the game was being held in, and mark off their numbers with a pen as they came in. The digital equivalent calls for daubing your bingo card by clicking the number with the cursor, but thankfully this is optional: if you’d rather just sit back and watch, or shoot the breeze in the chat window, you can have the system automatically check off your numbers on your behalf.

Should you land a winning pattern, you’ll be made well aware of it as your game card lights up to spell the word that every players prays for: B-I-N-G-O.

Bingo Hearts in Summary

Bingo Hearts is a fun and informal site that provides its members with a good selection of bingo games. The welcome promotion of 300% provides a nice introduction to the site, and there are plenty of reasons to persevere with the site once signed up.

Beneath the surface, when you strip away the emojis and love hearts, there’s nothing – not a single thing – that’s different about Bingo Hearts compared to its sister sites. While this betrays a paucity of imagination on behalf of Cassava Enterprises, it doesn’t detract from the experience of playing at the site. With convenient payment methods and a well-designed site, there’s little to fault about Bingo Hearts.
