Theme
This game takes place loosely in a Chinese restaurant, I chose the word loosely on purpose as sadly the reel set is so big, no matter how good the backdrop is you simply won't see much of it as it is largely obscured. It's a small thing though as the vibrant red's and golds couldn't possibly leave you in any doubt that this is a Chinese slot, even without the pay symbols and music.
Reel icons reinforce the theme well, with Har-Gow, Lotus rice, chicken feet (gross we know, and Shao-Mai all making an appearance, backed up by a traditional low-key Chinese theme tune as the backing music and some cymbal based sound effects. The visuals aren't out of this world but they are solid, and players who enjoyed the Sushi game will find a similar level of quality at this banquet table. They have sadly used playing card icons for the low pay symbols, but, given nearly everybody does, I'm not going to be avoiding this restaurant for that reason alone.
