Clean and clear design
In terms of visual design, Joker Strong is not a very original creation. The focus is solely put on the reels. No need to look for any kind of elaborate backstory or universe for the game, this is all about the slots and nothing else.
The background is blue with a few abstract patterns running across it. The reels and the symbols on them are also classic, but with a new, clear design that makes them shine and pop up.
Naturally, the sound effects remind minimal as well. The animations following winning combinations are dynamic and add some energy to an otherwise rather dull design. Besides this, Joker Strong is a very classic game, visually speaking.
Let’s get the party started
Joker Strong follows a classic gameplay, easy to learn and easy to follow for all players regardless of their level of experience.
The game features five reels, with three symbols each, and five fixed paylines running across them. You cannot modify the number of activated paylines, but the (+) and (-) switches located at the bottom of the game screen will let you adjust the size of your wager. Increase the size of your bet to maximize your potential winnings, which depend also on the type of symbols lining up on paylines.
Hit the central Start button to get the game started, and hope for big wins! After each successful spin, a mini guessing game will start automatically to give you a chance to double your reward. Guess correctly the colour of a card to do so, but remember that a wrong answer will make your prize disappear. Alternatively, try out the Auto Start mode to skip the settings and let the reels spin over and over again, without any interruptions.
Classic fruity menu
Joker Strong features a standard, retro paytable with all the classic symbols you can expect. Keep your eyes peeled for them and try to land as many winning combinations as you can to maximize your future gains.
Lemons, Cherries, Plums, Oranges, Watermelons, Grapes and Red Sevens, they are all here to help you make big wins at every spin. Five Red Sevens are worth 1000 times your initial bet, so try to gather as many of them as you can.
One more interesting feature is triggered when the reels are entirely filled with either Lemons, Plums, Oranges or Cherries. In such case, all wins will be automatically multiplied by two. Final surprises
The green Joker symbol is the Wild card in Joker Strong. This means that it can simply replace any other basic symbol and thus increase your chances to score even more combinations on screen, it may lack the excitement of a walking wild but it is a good addition nonetheless.
Furthermore, if you manage to land a Joker in the central position on the reels, the Magic Joker Bonus will initiate. The Joker will move around the winning area and triggering more winning combinations all around the screen.
The blue Scatter symbol triggers an extra cash prize; gather three of them in any position on the screen to add it automatically to your cash balance.
Not such a Strong performer
Joker Strong is similar to many other Kajot Gaming creations, both in terms of aesthetics and in terms of gameplay. Fans of old-school games will feel right at home and will enjoy the retro atmosphere, coupled with the high stakes. So if you are looking for a simple game with good chances to win, Joker Strong might be a good choice.
However, and contrary to other Kajot titles, Joker Strong does not bring a lot of innovation to the table. The special features and Bonuses are classic and rather unoriginal. This might be particularly problematic to younger players who are looking for more thrills and a more elaborate universe.
