Anyone who is familiar with Link2Win online instant win game Diamond Links will know what to expect with the free Fast Diamonds. Compact Matrix
In the play area, there is a matrix of 4 rows and 4 columns that has 16 cells. Of those cells, three of the four corners have a pure red cell and the bottom right corner has a yellow cell. The remaining 12 cells are coloured blue with a diamond border. The red cells are designated as ‘hot spots’ and these can have the power to remove prizes under certain conditions.
The yellow cell acts as a kind of bonus where it has the power to double an existing prize, or act as a sort of consolation prize with a 1.5x multiplier to an existing bet, but again, only if a certain conditions are met. When pressing play, there are three speeds which the game can be played at and this can be altered with the arrows on the button itself. Players looking to kick back for a little auto play can select a number of pre-set plays that start off at 2 but can go up to 100. At any time, these can be stopped, but as with any auto play it’s easy to run away with a balance if not watching carefully enough.
Eye on the Prize
Sixteen silver discs are ready to play and numbers are randomly allocated to each of the 16 cells. As each disc is drawn, it is placed on its matching number on the matrix. Each draw is numbers 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc and if two numbers are drawn straight after one another and appear side by side on the matrix, a gold link is made. Five or more links will win a prize according to the pay table.
There isn’t anything tactical to apply to the game, but when playing it's good to get those hot spots hit as early on as possible. If the last of the 16 draws are made and matches with any of the hot spot numbers this spells trouble. If there are under 10 links, any prizes will be removed. Should the last draw land on the yellow cell, this is called a SuperWin and with 5 or more links will pay double the prize awarded. If there are only 4 links or less, and the last draw is made on the yellow cell, then a multiplier of x1.5 is made on the current bet in play.
