The Hangover Slots

IGT has created in the past several fantastic slot machines that have thoroughly entertained gamers across the world. The Hangover is among the finest releases of the company. Based on one of the most successful films of all time, the Hangover, this slot machine entered into the market in 2009 when it was released by Warner Bros.

IGT purchased the film’s rights after striking a sensational deal with the popular distribution and production house. The experience that players can look forward to is the same as watching the film, and IGT has made sure about that.

Given the excellent performance of the Hangover films, few slot games can have more interesting themes. The Hangover as well as its sequel attracted millions of viewers, and the slot machines developed by IGT are doing just the same.

As soon as the rights were acquired by IGT, the company made sure that the features in the game are based on, and reminiscent of the movies. The task may have been a Herculean one, but the developers at IGT have incorporated the film’s elements into the game with pin-point precision. However, the game is not just one that offers fun for fans of the film, but delivers an exceptional experience to anyone who has an interest in slot games.

Details about the Hangover Movies

The first Hangover movie is themed around four men who set out to Las Vegas to celebrate the remaining days of their friend’s bachelor life. The four main characters in the game include Zach Galifianakis as Alan, Justin Bartha as Doug, Ed Helms as Stu and Bradley Cooper as Phil. Doug throws a bachelor’s party in Vegas, where Alan spikes their drinks and puts the impending nuptials at risk. When they awake the following day, they find that the groom-to-be is missing. The group is left with the task of finding Doug and heading to the wedding in time.

The first film enjoyed tremendous success and the producers decided to make a sequel as a result of the franchise’s quickly growing fame. The Hangover I became the 10th highest grossing movie in 2009, grossing more than $467. Although the comedic approach was praised far and wide, the vulgarity in the film received a lot of stick. However, that wouldn’t stop the film from winning the coveted Golden Globe Award for the best comedy or musical motion picture. It also received several other accolades and is the second-best 2009 R-rated film in the US in terms of gross profits, breaking a 25-year long record that previously belonged to Beverly Hills Cop.

In comparison with all the other R-rated movies, The Hangover is third only to The Matrix Reloaded and the Passion of the Christ when it comes to gross profits. The sequel was released in 2011, and the third and final part of the Hangover series hit cinemas in May 2013.
