Hot Beach Slot Machine

Summer may very well be in the rear view mirror, but that hasn’t stopped a few up and coming casino developers from giving players a taste of the sun. Enter Drive Media, a name that, while small in stature, is giving players a sprinkling of sand with brand new game Hot Beach.

Yes, beach based online slot games are a dime a dozen these days, so you could be forgiven for glancing over this release. That being said, Hot Beach does seem to be making the online casino portal rounds with some positive chatter in tow.

Hot Beach is promising to deliver some seriously hot online slots action, but as has been said a thousand times before, promises are only that. With Drive Media backing, can Hot Beach step up and deliver? The following review blows this brand new game wide open!

Have Your Towels and Flip Flops at the Ready

Hot Beach could have easily been yet another boring looking real money slots release, so it’s great to see Drive Media try something different in order to liven things up. This game has a fully 3D theme based solely around a day at the beach, but that’s not all, the game is also fully animated. From the waves shifting around in the backdrop, to the beach goers moving around on the sand, this could very well be the best looking Drive Media title we’ve ever seen.

Sadly, while the theme of the game is mesmerising, the symbols do rein things in somewhat. They are completely flat, and don’t really work to add much to the game overall. If the symbols of this game had been of a better quality, Hot Beach could have been the complete visual package.

In for a Penny, In for a Pound

This is a Drive Media game, so if you have loaded it up expecting to find an all action base game, you are going to be left feeling somewhat short-changed. The framework is built upon 5 reels and 9 paylines, so there isn’t too much to get excited about here. The betting levels are actually pretty impressive though, with the max bet in this medium variance game being 450.0 and the minimum bet being just 0.90.

The Bikini Top Collector

What makes Hot Beach pretty special is its bonus features, as it really goes from strength to strength. Kicking things off is a touch of something classic, as you really can’t argue with a good old fashioned gamble game, as it offers players a simple double your money shot.

When you progress further into Hot Beach and land three or more crab symbols, you’ll be able to access the game’s bonus round. It’s a little bit seedy, but players can grab the ‘Super Bonus’ within this game by collecting girls bikini tops. Within the ‘Super Bonus’, you’ll need to find your “bikini babe” in the shower in order to scoop an additional bonus prize.

Guaranteeing a Wild Time

Thankfully, for those that really want to push the base game to its maximum, Hot Beach also includes wild symbols; which can really ramp up the prizes. In fact, if you land enough wild symbols, you may just walk away with a 900,000-credit prize. This comes in on top of the three separate jackpot prizes within Hot Beach.

Packing for the Day Ahead

There is a real pizazz to most of Hot Beach, but that doesn’t carry over onto the game’s controls, as yet again Drive Media has used the same panel that it uses within pretty much every release it puts out. When you have a bright looking game and then pepper it with blocky looking buttons questions really do need to be asked.

Hot Beach Delivers Hot Slots Action!

Drive Media hardly have many games that rank high in the eyes of critics, but that could be about to change with the release of Hot Beach. This small little slots game, which pretty much received no marketing upon release, is actually incredibly fun to play. The base game delivered enough action to keep us interested, before the raft of bonus features hammered home just how expansive this game is.

We were sceptical of Hot Beach when we first saw it, as the name is a touch questionable, while it has some lowbrow overtones too. Thankfully, it proved to be much more than what we initially expected, so it would certainly be a game we would recommend to other players.
