The Cop the Lot slot is something of a cartoon caper, featuring a group of possibly the worst crooks ever seen on a computing device. There are four in total, all but one wearing the traditional striped shirt, the other happy to just wear a pair of braces. Each is larger than the other and if you hadn’t seen them together, you might swear that the largest of four had actually eaten the other three. They are joined by an equally hapless cop in a slot that is chock full of features and offers three different ways of winning the Jackpot.
The slot is set against the background of ‘police’ blue, a wired fence surrounding the reels. The most numerous symbols on the reels are the playing card ones, these large and in bright, bold, bubble lettering. The other symbols follow this lead, all very colourful and not to be missed. This gives the slot a busy feel, as you might expect at a cartoon style slot. The accompanying soundtrack to the game is that of the 1980’s TV cop show ‘The Professionals’ and is added to by the sound of the reels, whistles, bombs and various other cops and robbers related noises.
This Blueprint slot has five reels and a set number of 20 win lines. You’ll choose the total bet for each spin as opposed to the coin value and the pay table will update dynamically based upon the coin size. To gain a win you’ll need to land consecutive symbols from left to right on one of the 20 win lines, some symbols needing at least 3 in a row, while others will pay out for just two.
The super wild symbol featuring dynamite is the top paying one, giving a 10,000 coin win should you gain five in a row – this wild will also substitute for any other symbol apart from the bonus ones and any win using the wild will be doubled.
The title symbol is the next best in the game and pays 500 coins for a full house, while the cash stacks and the money bags both pay out 400 coins. The playing card symbols are the lowest paying ones.
There are three distinct feature rounds, each activated by landing the appropriate scatter symbol three or more times across the reels.
The first feature is the ‘Smash ‘N’ Grab’ which is activated by the ‘Safe’ symbol. You’ll choose a safe and choose two others that are now eliminated. You’ll now be offered a number of spins ‘Deal or No Deal’ style, or you can continue. You can gain a maximum of 50 free spins and during the feature you’ll find extra wilds and bonus symbols.
The ‘Usual Suspects’ feature takes you to a screen showing the four robbers and you’ll simply pick one and you’ll be awarded an immediate cash prize. The maximum win size of this feature is 500x your total bet size.
The final feature is the ‘Cops and Robbers’ bonus feature, where you are taken a board game style round, where you’ll travel around the board collecting cash and key symbols whilst being chased by the cop. During the round you can enter ‘Millionaire’s Row’ by collecting 3 keys and find bigger and better rewards. However, get caught by the cop and you’ll go to court – where your case can be dismissed, you can do a runner or you can end up in jail. This is a highly entertaining bonus round and is the highlight of the slot.
The slot has a golden Jackpot where you can win a million Euros. The higher the stake you are playing the more chance you’ll have, but it is possible to win this at any stake level. This is won in 3 different ways. You can collect 3 gold safes during the ‘Cops and Robbers’ round, accumulate 5 gold safes during the free spins and reveal a golden identity card during the ‘Usual Suspects’ round.
This slot by Blueprint is incredibly hard to criticize. It has a great sense of humour, the features are plentiful and fun and you can win a huge amount of real money when playing. What is not to like? The ‘Cops and Robbers’ feature alone is enough to make this slot a standout one, but the added extras only improve the game. This is a must play slot – grab your swag bag and go and play!
